Marek Mickiewicz is dominating off-season workouts. Now is the time! Go Prep!
We were scheduled to play under the lights at West Point after the Army/Navy game this year as well as meet both squads. On days like today, and every day, we are reminded of those who have paid the ultimate sacrifice for our safety and freedom. God Bless America.
Wall-Ball fundraiser is on! Cooper Rogan and Tommy Burton are leading this project. Our goal is to raise money to support Prep families in need while putting our stickskills to the test. More info to follow. We begin this week!
We ran and hiked Palisades State Park in the fall. What a great week to get outside as parks reopen! Go Prep. Stay safe.
Joy and Humility: Pat Corrao, our team manager, has offered so much support to our program on a full time basis. We would not be able to do all of the things we do without Pat: service trips, team bonding events, administrative work, filming practices, weekly team lunches, workout logs, and more. “This was the most extensive off season in the history of Prep Lacrosse”- Coach Hansen. Seniors, this is all because of you. We love you. Your work ethic and enthusiasm will transfer to areas in your life that are far greater than lacrosse. Go Prep.
The face of the offense: Andrew Williams. Andrew’s love for the game and this program is inimitable. Our captain is one of the best lacrosse players in the state and will take his high lacrosse IQ, terrifying outside shot and beautiful inside finishes, as well as his contagious smile to Division 1 lacrosse with Merrimack College. We love you, Andrew. Crush it. Younger players: take note and emulate Andrew if you want to play high level lacrosse.
HUSTLE: Jack Riley is a beast of a defensive middie and elevated the team’s clearing game. He bring humor, hustle, and joy to every practice and game. He’s going to flourish at Indiana U next year. We love you, JR!
Don’t mess with Brian Mikovits! He’s the most joyous, lovable player in the program, but don’t be mistaken Brian Mikovits is one of the best goalies and captains in the tri-State area. His talent, character, leadership, and personality will forever be missed in day to day life at Prep. Providence is beyond lucky to have him on their campus. We love you, Mik. Stay golden.
Man, are we glad Michael didn’t play baseball at Prep! Mike was the only player on the team this year to earn “the maroon shirt of courage” in the off season. Michael is taking his grit, courage, and humor to Loyola! We love you, Michael Ohlmueller and can’t wait to see where your gifts will take you.
